This clip of Salman Khan struggling with a charkha is absolute comedy gold. It perfectly captures that awkward, forced 'man of the people' vibe that celebrities try to pull off to make themselves look grounded. It is the ideal visual for when someone is being totally fake or pretentious, desperately trying to appear humble while everyone knows it is just for show. The contrast between the superstar's usual tough-guy aura and this delicate, old-school chore makes for a hilarious reaction for anyone acting like a saint when they are clearly not.
Salman Khan is sitting on the floor with a woman, trying to operate a traditional wooden spinning wheel (charkha) while yarn is wrapped around his hand.
This clip is used to depict someone trying to act humble, simple, or engaging in traditional activities to clean up their public image or appear down-to-earth.
