Required Elements of a Takedown Notice

  • Your contact information, including full name, email address, and mailing address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Accounts associated with repeated, credible copyright violations may be restricted or terminated. Abuse of the DMCA process, including knowingly false claims, can also lead to enforcement actions.
